Thanks for writing about your episode of depression, Jeremy, not easy to do. As always I found your writing engaging and uplifting. Looking forward to more! Best wishes, Jonathan Potts
Thanks, Jonathan. I've never written about it before but this seemed like the right moment. Your brother was very kind to me at that time and talked a lot of sense down the phone.
Loved reading this, made me want to get the Companion, and probably even keep my trial subscription though that will depend on how broke I feel by end of the 7 days. I have also shared this on Twitter and with a poet friend. And, glad you're over the depression! What a hell of a task this was!
Thanks very much Kyla! I'm pleased to be able to say, in turn, that I really enjoyed your TUNED chapbook (courtesy of J. Davis). It reminded me of the kind of poetry I was excited to find in the Poetry Library at the start of the Companion work...
Oh thank you so very much! You probably know how much such a reflection means, from another poet and writer.... Ha! And that is who I sent the link to....
When I saw your title, of course I thought, “I, too, dislike it”!
There's no avoiding that poem! If I had ever written the book about how poetry ruined my life, I suspect it would have come up before too long...

I've just changed to a paid subscription and I'm so pleased I did so. Looking forward to more of your writing!
Thanks, Rachel!
